Weapons are capable of absorbing the Houkai Energy around them. After this has gone on for a period of time, the weapon will eventually gain a mind of its own. This is what we call "Awakening". As most of the weapons that "Awaken" are legendary artifacts with powers of the divine, some also call this phenomenon "Divinity Awakening".

武器在长久的使用中，会不断吸收溢散的崩坏能，从而觉醒自己的意识，这种状态被称为觉醒。又因为这种状况多见于本身就具有神明的力量的神器上，所这种状态也被称为神格觉醒。

装備が長く使われているうちに、崩壊エネルギーを吸収し、自我の意識に芽生える。この状態を覚醒という。またこうした状況は本体そのものが神の力を持った神器に多く見られるので、神格覚醒とも呼ばれる。

무기는 주변의 붕괴능을 흡수할 수 있습니다. 이를 '각성'이라고 합니다. "각성"하는 대부분의 무기는 신의 힘을 지닌 전설적인 유물이기 때문에, 일부에서는 이 현상을 "신성 각성"이라고 부르기도 합니다. 일정 시간이 지나면 무기는 결국 스스로의 마음을 갖게 됩니다.
