According to records found on ancient scrolls, the Xuanyuan Sword is a legendary weapon granted to the Youxiong clan of God's Land by the ancient Immortals. It is a representation of the diverse flora and fauna on the continent. The sword itself is forged with steel soul, embedded with two jewels of six colors, which stand for the six types of elements found in the world. It's been a very long time since anyone has last seen the Xuanyuan Sword. Legend has it that the Emperor of Xuanyuan wielded it to fight against the beast Chiyou in the Nine Realms during its invasion of God's Land, and the sword disappeared along with the fallen Emperor himself, never to be found after that.

根据上古帛书记载，轩辕剑是远古神族赐予神州大陆有熊氏族的神器，象征着大地上的森罗万象。剑身由钢魂所铸，其中镶嵌着两颗宝珠，宝珠含六色，代表着世间的六种属性。关于轩辕剑最后的情报极其古老，相传在妖兽蚩尤攻打神州大陆时，黄帝轩辕持此剑与其决战九幽后消失，此后再也没有人寻得。

고문헌에 따르면 헌원검은 고대 신족이 신주 대륙의 유웅씨족에게 하사한 신기(神器)로, 대지의 삼라만상을 상징한다. 검신은 강혼(鋼魂)으로 주조되었으며 보주 두 개가 박혀 있다. 보주는 6색으로 빛나며 세상의 여섯 속성을 나타낸다. 헌원검 관련 기록은 극히 희소하며, 마지막 기록은 요수 치우가 신주 대륙을 침공했을 때 황제 헌원이 이 검을 들고 구유(九幽)에서 싸운 후 소실되었다는 내용이다. 이후 발견 사례는 전무하다.
